VARSHA GAUTHAM and SWETA SHERVEGAR, India

Varsha has been a full-time sailor since the age of 13. Since then, under the guidance of Pete Conway, she was the first female Indian sailor to WIN an Asian Games medal, and the first Indian sailor to qualify for a medal race in an ISAF Olympic class World Championship.  Varsha and Sweta started sailing together in 2017, undertaking an independent sailing campaign with Toplevel sailing. With TopLevel Sailing’s involvement and the all-round commitment from all parties, The team managed to win a Silver medal at the 2018 Asian championship and A Silver medal at the 2018 Asian games
